The staff at Hilton Edinburgh Carlton made the latitudes and longitudes. After a looong day of traveling from the United States, we found out why the Scottish people are renowned as the friendliest in the world. Georgina, Adam and Jess went above and beyond in every way imaginable to make each day of our stay feel like home. Georgina is a five-star concierge who checked on us each day to make sure our adventures were sublime, Adam a world-class bartender who puts the customer ahead of everything and was full of advice to make our stay more enjoyable and Jess broke 80 at the Old Course. Enough said!

We previously stayed at this hotel in 2021 and did not have the best experience. We booked again as the hotel we typically stay at was unavailable. We were very pleasantly surprised about the positive changes since our last stay! The hotel is being remodeled and the rooms are being renovated. Construction was being done while we were there this last week but you wouldn’t know it. The property was very quiet and the new windows prevent the street noise we once heard. The hotel is very clean and unless you happen to run into them you would never know any construction workers are there. The breakfast was delicious and had many offerings. The executive lounge had a wide variety of hot and cold appetizers each night and a lovely array of drinks. All of the staff were friendly and happy to help in anyway they could. We actually now prefer this hotel over the Waldorf and look forward to staying again!

Had a stay in the hotel in April, was an amazing experience! Staff were friendly and approachable! In particular, food and beverage staff, Lou and Jimmy who went above and beyond for me, including giving me tips on the must sees in the city! Overall great experience

We had a wonderful stay with two small children and everything seemed to work well. The room was clean, warm and the aircon worked well with a gorgeous Carlton view. The breakfast had loads of options and Djilali and his team were always kind and helpful.
